We believe that using real photos/videos of Maranatha Baptist Church (MBC) people of all
ages in our print and web publications fosters a greater sense of community and a more
honest reflection of who we are. Photography and video recordings from church events help
MBC to display the vibrancy and joy of our Christian community. We use photos to enhance
the quality of our print materials, newsletters, the mbccolumbus.org website, social media,
and publicity. We also use photos/videos to further our efforts in education, outreach, and
supporting the connection between believers around the world. As a participant in MBC
events, you have a right to opt out of inclusion in photographs/media, but unless this Photo
Opt-Out form is submitted, participation in MBC activities implies permission for the use of
images/videos taken at those events. 

MBC will never post images with identifying information such as name, email address,
address, or family members’ names. No special compensation is provided to any individual
included in images/videos taken at MBC events. MBC does not contact individuals to notify
them if or when their images are used by MBC.

Individuals who have submitted this completed Photo Opt-Out form should endeavor to alert
photographers should they see someone in their vicinity taking pictures, so that they are
not accidentally captured in crowd shots.

This opt-out form does not apply to photos that might be taken and used by others who
attend MBC.

Complete and submit this form ONLY if you do NOT give permission for you/your children’s
photo, audio, or video to appear in possible MBC publications or publicity, including
printings, social media, or the website.
